Tiffany t. titus

Entrepreneur, Author, Economic Gardener, and Civic Leader

Tiffany Titus is an award-winning economic development strategist, author, and entrepreneurship educator recognized for mobilizing communities to grow small business ecosystems. With more than 25 years of leadership in banking, venture development, higher education, and nonprofit management, she has helped raise over $50 million in capital for entrepreneurs and guided the launch of thousands of ventures across Washington and beyond.

She is the Founder of the Girandola Center for Entrepreneurs and Creator of the Entrepreneurial Edge Toolkit, used internationally and by U.S. colleges and workforce programs to train small business owners—including those in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Self-Employment Assistance Program (SEAP). Tiffany’s work has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Governor of Washington State, and multiple foreign governments for innovation and impact in micro-enterprise development.

An experienced civilian diplomat and State Department trainer, she has shared U.S. small business best practices with emerging leaders from more than 53 nations through the International Visitor Leadership Program, and she presented global competitiveness strategies alongside Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the UN Economic Forum in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Tiffany’s professional background spans senior banking roles with HSBC Bank USA and Washington Mutual, where she ranked as the #1 Business Banker on the West Coast and designed award-winning national small-business outreach programs with Microsoft Corporation. She later served as Director of the Small Business Accelerator at Shoreline Community College and Director of Micro Credit for the International Alliance of Women in Washington, D.C.

Her board service includes the Seattle Trade Development Alliance, Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, Canada-America Society, and the Fountain Hills Cultural & Civic Association, where she currently helps steward a community endowment. She has the honor of serving as Commissioner, History, Culture and Art for the Town of Fountain Hills. A transplant to Fountain Hills from Seattle, Washington, Tiffany brings with her a deep commitment to servant leadership, civilian diplomacy, and sustainable community prosperity.

An engaging public speaker who has delivered more than 500 presentations worldwide, Tiffany holds an MBA and BA in Entrepreneurship from Seattle Pacific University. She is married to fellow adventurer Donn Titus, retired State Department Diplomat, and—when not serving her community—can be found hiking, traveling, acquiring art, or mentoring the next generation of civic innovators.
